Twenty-Two Facts About Me ✨

In a little over a month from now, I will be 22 years old. Typing it out is weird, and I know that I’m still pretty young, but when I really think about it, I’m getting old. Time truly flies by. Anyways, below are twenty-two facts about me.

• My Birthday is November 19, making me a Scorpio. I’m very heavy into astrology, the stars never lie. You can also check out my blog post of the same name, “The Stars Never Lie”, to read my thoughts of each of the zodiac signs.
• I was born and raised in Michigan, but I’ve traveled a few other places including Canada, Ohio, New York, Tennessee, Arkansas, and Georgia. Not too many,  but my goal is to have traveled to all 50 states by the time I’m 30 years old.

• My guilty pleasure is reading celebrity gossip. Most of the time you know it’s nonsense, but I’m still one of those people that’s intrigued by the lives of celebrities. The Shaderoom is my go-to place for all the tea 🍵.

• I’ve had many, many celebrity crushes, but my first celebrity crush was Nick Jonas. I used to line my walls with posters from Tiger Beat and Bop magazines.

• My first concert was the Cheetah Girls (minus Raven), since then I’ve seen Corbin Bleu with Aly and AJ, The Jonas Brothers, Chris Brown with Tyga, Chris Brown with Trey Songz, French Montana, Justin Bieber, One Direction, and Kehlani. I’m actually going to the Coachella Music Fest next year and I’m extremely excited for that.

• I absolutely love film! I was a radio and television major in high school, and I took a film class in college. I have gained an appreciation for film, every aspect of it. Romantic comedies are my favorite, I can go on and on about the rom-com movies I love. I can also watch them a million times without getting bored. I love films from all genres and all eras. My most favorite movie is Citizen Kane.

• I can’t pick a favorite TV series because I have a different one every week. I like any show with a good plot! If I had to choose, my favorite show would be Grey’s Anatomy.

• I took dance classes with I was younger, up until I was about 12. I took ballet, jazz, tap, and lyrical dance. Tap was definitely my favorite! I’m not the best dancer unless I’m drunk. Or if you want to challenge me to a tap dance duel, I’d for sure set the dance floor on fire.

• I also took sewing classes when I was younger, I made my own dress (which I still have) and I learned to how to create my own fashion sketches. I used to want to be a fashion designer. I’d watch Project Runway faithfully and being on that show used to be one of my main goals.

• One of my biggest accomplishments is becoming a shift manager at my former job Arby’s. It’s something I was always unsure about, but it made me a much better worker. I’m not there anymore, but I gained all I needed to during my time there.

• The only pets I’ve had were fish from Meijer I used to always bother my mother to buy. They died within the month. I would love to have a Boston Terrier or a Pug.

• One of my hidden talents is actually writing! Not many people know that I love writing and that I’m actually pretty good at it.

• I’ve been writing stories since I was about 9 years old. The first time I actually shared my stories was in college. I took an awesome creative writing class for two semesters.

• I have 5 younger siblings, three brothers (19, 11, and 6) and twin sisters (3).

• I’m obsessed with quotes and memes, my photos mainly consist of screenshots of the two.

• My favorite quote is “Take every risk, drop every fear.”.

• I love, love, love coffee. I either like it black or with 10 cream and 50 sugars. There’s no in between.

• My favorite Starbucks drinks are vanilla chai tea lattes and vanilla bean frappes with extra caramel drizzle.

• My favorite restaurant is McDonald’s. Lol just kidding (maybe not). I love food in general, I can’t even pick a favorite place. I love all restaurants equally.

• In college, my most favorite class was Anthropology. It was really only necessary to talk one course, but I ended up taking three classes. I don’t know I’d make a career out of Anthropology, but I’d still love to travel and study other cultures.

• If I wasn’t working where I was now, my dream job would be a screenwriter. I also wouldn’t mind being a full-time blogger, but that’s something I’m working towards now.

• My biggest inspirations are young people who are working hard doing something they love and making a difference in the world.
